Lesson Goal

Students practice about a person using questions, and Practice Targets:

  • ask open but questions

  • collect information about a person's life, goals, and

  • react to answers without like an

  • ask questions that feel and

  • or personal questions when needed

Listening NoteHelp

This is a speaking-first question sheet. It does not have a story, article, or normal Listen mode. A teacher can choose 6-8 cards and build a simple profile of the person from their answers. Teacher flow: Start with safe present-life questions. Move to interests, past experiences, goals, and communication style only if the student seems comfortable. After each answer, ask one detail question and one feeling/opinion question.
